PlutoHacks 2025 embraced the central theme of Past, Present, and Future, guiding and inspiring hackers to explore the evolution of technology from historic breakthroughs to today’s innovations and tomorrow’s possibilities. Participants were challenged to create projects that reflected this journey through time, showcasing creativity that will help shape the future of our solar system and beyond. With 113 talented hackers presenting an incredible range of projects, PlutoHacks 2025 was a truly unforgettable event. Here’s a glimpse at some of the highlights!

Synopsis:

Voxtant is an AI interview coach that turns real job postings into personalized, live practice sessions with instant feedback on answers, delivery, and eye contact. Built for privacy, all analysis happens on-device to keep data secure. It helps users prepare smarter by aligning responses directly with the role’s actual skills and values.

Synopsis:
LegacyDrive transforms old computers into personal cloud storage devices, reducing e-waste and dependency on costly cloud services. Built using Linux tools and WSL, it simplifies complex setup steps into an easy, user-friendly process. The project aims to expand compatibility with open-source software and make setup even more seamless for everyone.

Universal Renewable Energy Factory (U.R.E.F)

Universal Renewable Energy Factory (U.R.E.F) is a Minecraft-built concept that showcases how buildings can generate clean energy and produce sustainable products. Despite the game’s block-based limits, it demonstrates innovative eco-friendly design. The project envisions translating this virtual model into real-world renewable solutions.

mAI-D is a Chrome extension and mobile app prototype that detects AI-generated and misleading content online. Inspired by the growing threat of misinformation, it analyzes text, images, and videos for bias and credibility. Built using Visual Studio, C++, and Figma, the project aims to help users stay informed and protected from digital deception.
